National Disability Employment Awareness Month
National Disability Employment Awareness Month
The Arc Carroll County is proud to support National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). Held each October, NDEAM aims to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the many and varied contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. Throughout the month, we’ll be engaging in a variety of activities to educate our employers on disability employment issues and the role they play in fostering a disability-friendly work culture.
We’d like to thank the following businesses for their support.

Summer Youth Employment Graduation
Summer Youth Employment 2018 was a great success due to our hard working college and high school interns. This year’s employment program included 32 students and 26 business partners, which made this our largest and most successful year. We had 10 students end the program with a paid permanent position! The Arc Carroll County wants to thank DORS, The Arc staff, students, families, and business partners for their support of this work readiness program. Click here to view photos.
