Recycle for a good cause

Do you have an old computer tower or laptop you would love to get rid of, but are afraid of what will happen to the information stored on your hard drive?

You are in luck. NoWorries IT is about to get its spring computer recycling program for charity on March 1. NoWorries IT, based in Westminster, will sanitize data from hard drives and take old laptops and computer towers to the recycling center for free.

NoWorries IT also will match the rebates they receive from the recycling center. All proceeds raised benefit The Arc Carroll County.

Anyone interested in participating in the program can drop their computer towers and laptops off at NoWorries IT’s offices at 57 Aileron Court Suite 14 located at the Airport Business Park in Westminster. Drop off hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during the business week. The program runs from March 1 through March 31.

The program only accepts computer towers and laptops. Monitors, keyboards and other computer accessories will not be accepted. Please help us keep old technology out of the landfill and raise money for a truly great cause! For more details: 410-751-7650.
